With over 15 years of experience in education, Richard Jones brings deep insight, credibility, and empathy to his work as an executive coach. His career has spanned classroom teaching, middle and senior leadership, and more recently, headship in both primary and junior school settings. Currently serving as an Executive Headteacher across two diverse schools, Richard understands first-hand the complexities, pressures, and rewards of leadership in education today.
Richard is a qualified coach and mentor through the British School of Coaching and is passionate about helping others lead with clarity, confidence, and authenticity.
His coaching approach is warm, reflective, and challenging – creating the space leaders need to think deeply, overcome obstacles, and grow professionally and personally. Whether working with aspiring middle leaders or experienced headteachers, Richard brings a calm presence, strategic thinking, and a genuine belief in the power of coaching to unlock potential.
Combining his leadership experience with a values-driven coaching ethos, Richard supports individuals and teams to navigate change, strengthen resilience, and lead with purpose. His mantra, aligned with the ethos of Rise Education Consulting, is simple yet powerful: growing learners, growing leaders.
